Chelsie and Paul, thank you guys so much for including me in this special day! I had a blast and I can’t wait to work with yall again in the future! I hope you love the photos as much as I do. :)

This year, my brother attended his third prom. (Can anyone say “Mr. Popular?!”) Of course, I went to take photographs of him and his date. One of my seniors, Lacey, also attended this prom and asked me to take a few photographs of her and her date as well. The group chose to take a few pictures at the dance location, The Brickhouse in Lake Charles, and at the restaurant, The Regatta in Lake Arthur. This event was quite a challenge. For one, when 30 teenagers and their parents are all in the same place at the same time trying to hurry up a take a few cute photos, things are a little wild! (Fun, but still, wild!) To top it off, the Brickhouse is a very dark and romantic venue. This is great for photos… except for when your flash batteries are dead and you have no time to run to the store and pick some up. (I promise, if you hire me, I will be prepared with this. For this event, however, I had no clue that we’d be taking any pictures indoors. Lesson learned! ALWAYS BRING EXTRA BATTERIES! :) ) Then, the photos at the restaurant had to be taken at around 8:30 pm, again in the dark… with no flash. This made for one hell of a challenge. Still, we got TONS of gorgeous photos and the kids had a really great time!  I can’t wait for next year. ;) Take a look at these beautiful people:

Yall come back soon! Lots of amazing sessions are still coming soon on the blog! :)

Sarah called me a while back for family photos. I was so thrilled and honored that she asked, but, unfortunately I was booked. I wanted to be able to accommodate this awesome & loyal client, so I searched for a spot. Thankfully, God loves me. :) I found a day that worked for us all and I’m so glad that I did! I love Sarah & her precious family and it is always so exciting to work with them!

This session was a double: couple photos + family photos all in one! We went to a few locations and got some gorgeous pictures! Take a look:

Sarah, thanks again for asking me to photograph your beautiful family! Readers, stay tuned! Lots of fun sessions are still to come!
