I decided to do a catch-up blog for today’s post. I’m constantly filling yall in on my business, my clients, my projects, and my every day activities, but today I want to talk about (and post some fonky phone pics of) some of the exciting things that I have done in my PERSONAL life as of late. 🙂

Over the past six or so months, I have had a lot of amazing opportunities. Best of all, I have been able to travel, something that is new and amazing to me.

Growing up, we didn’t travel to many places. (Unless you count Texas… and I LOATHE Texas…) Sure, we went to Washington D.C. and Colorado, but I was REALLY young and I hardly remember. Up until recently, I hadn’t traveled in YEARS! Still, I always dreamed of going to new cities and experiencing new things. Little by little, I’ve been achieving that dream.

First, as you know, I went to Las Vegas. This opportunity was amazing, as it was connected to one of the things I love most: photography. I met a lot of amazing people, learned a lot of new things, and gained a sense of direction for my business (and my life) that was missing before.

Then, I was able to relax on the beaches of Florida. I know that Florida is no big deal to most people around here, but it was my first time to see the state (or the ocean for that matter) and I loved every minute. For the first time in a long time, I was able to leave my “to-do” lists at home and simply enjoy myself. 🙂

After that, I visited the best place of all: Boston. The trip was less than a month ago and I seriously cannot stop thinking about it! (I may or may not have a problem!) I’ve always wanted to visit the northeast. While most people think that NYC is the golden city of the US, I’ve always been fascinated with Boston. The accents, the baseball, what’s not to love? As I figured, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I cannot WAIT to go back! We toured the city, visited awesome pubs and restaurants, and even caught a Red Sox game!

The weekend after our Boston trip, we went on yet another roadtrip, but this time it was miniature-sized and a lot closer to home. In order to “live up” my last full weekend off for the year AND to repay my boyfriend for making him sit through the Boston game (I know, he’s crazy. How can you NOT love the Sox?!), we decided to go watch his favorite team, the Astros. I was excited, but still pretty uninterested. I was still on my Red Sox high and I knew that nothing would be able to compare. However, the Bad News Bears of the major league (and the entire trip) surprised me! We had AMAZING seats (any place that I can have chicken sandwiches delivered to me personally, WITHOUT GETTING UP, is an AWESOME place to me ;)), Ben met the general manager of the team, and SOMEHOW, the Stro’s even pulled off a win.

At the beginning of 2013, I will be traveling to the #1 place that I have ALWAYS wanted to go: LA! As always, I’ll post PLENTY of photos when the time comes. 🙂

Life. Is. Good. I’m so thankful for all of the blessings in my personal life and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year holds for my business. 🙂

Thanks for reading guys! Until next time…
